It’s on!
We said we’d do this "come rain or come shine", so we’re doing it. Santa Cruz is wet right now, but the weather forecast is looking promising for the 31st. We're excited to see you! We'd like to ask you all to get to campus by around 2:45, because at 3:00 PM this show is going to start!
Because Omicron is so transmissible, almost everything we’re doing from 3 - 6 pm will be outdoors and in open air — please layer up, and bring your fabulous winter apparel! Think “New Year’s Eve in Times Square”, but add some rugged, water-resistant footwear. Please bring an umbrella if you’ve got one, just in case.
When we do go inside Marcia’s house, for the bathroom or to warm up a little, we’ll ask everyone to be masked as much as possible. Finally, if you aren't vaccinated, or if you’re feeling at all unwell, we’d like to ask you to sit this one out. We also realize you might have changed your plans—which we totally understand—thanks for letting us know if that’s the case. (And we hope to raise a glass with you soon!)

SCHEDULE
3:00 pm — on the Oakes Lawn overlooking Monterey Bay, we’ll share vows and a few words of joy with you. We’ll be gathering rain or shine! Bring your sturdy shoes and holiday cheer, and we’ll bring the mulled cider. All ages are welcome.
4:00 - 6:00 pm — we’ll gather at the Oakes Provost House patio, dine on gourmet food-truck fare, eat cake, and raise a glass to love and good fortune.
The intrepid amongst you are most welcome to join us at 8:00 PM for an after-party at our place—the Kresge Provost House.
